SEE IT: Somali pirates engage in shootout with cargo ship crew

A cargo ship said ahoy to Somali pirates with a hail of gunfire.

Video posted Thursday shows a private security crew fighting off two skiffs of high-seas bandits.

By Saturday it had gone viral with more than 6 million views of the recording, which resembles something out of a “Call of Duty” video game.

The nearly two-minute video begins with an assault rifle peering down a fast-moving skiff as it approaches the ship.

Pirates on the ship first fired at the cargo ship, but shots couldn’t be heard because of the distance, according to maritime website Humansatsea.com.

Then the rifle begins firing at the pirate’s vessel as it nears. The boat then weaves in and out as bullets pierce the water, then goes alongside the ship.
