PROUD TOURISM GRADUATE; Kung hindi pwede sa Eroplano edi sa Barko
Let me share my story
Loud and proud a tourism graduate. When I was in college I always dream of becoming a flight attendant. So when I graduated I tried many airlines but I always fail and rejected.ofcourse it's painful but I have to keep going until i realize na Hindi naman pala nag e evolve and course ko as airline,I can work land base, airbase or sea base.until naka pag decide akong mag apply in a cruise ship, during my first interview out of 72 applicants 12 Lang ang kukunin as casino dealer fortunately I got the spot.
So I Had to process some papers and trainings which took me 3 months bago matapos. After the training, nag antay ako for almost a year pero nabagot ako sa pag hihintay until I saw a post on FB regarding a marine stewardess position here in Qatar.
I passed the interview and received my offer letter grabe ang saya ko nun. And now currently working dito sa Qatar as yacht stewardess, mahirap cya pero all worth it. And take note nakikita ako ang mga royal family, pasahero ko eh.
Sabi nila ganda Lang daw ang tourism, ofcourse not! Contrary to what you might think working in Tourismand Hospitality is not like a never-ending vacation. This fast-changing, dynamic and highly competitive field, expects well-trained professionals with serious work ethic.
That's why - to be the top of your game and get a good start. Kumbaga sa work ko, multitasking I can be a nanny, waitress, safety office, caregiver, cleaner, customer service ect etc. sa lahat ng tourism stude jan, kapit Lang at wag bibitaw sa pangarap.
